Accessibility
Accessibility of this site
This statement applies to every page on this site.
This site is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, because of the limits listed below.
What does work: every table has real row and column headers, every form field has a label, errors name the field they belong to, focus is visible everywhere, the page can be used at 320 pixels wide, and nothing moves on its own.
Known limits
- The plan tables are wide, so on a narrow screen they scroll sideways inside their frame rather than reflowing into a list.
- A manual screen reader and keyboard pass has not yet been completed, so problems that automated checking cannot find may remain.
How we test
How we test: every page is checked automatically against WCAG 2.2 A and AA on every change, at full width and at 320 pixels wide, and colour contrast is checked against the same standard. On every change, every form and the plan's controls are also used in a real browser, checking what each control is called, what state it is in, the reading order, and where focus goes after each action. A manual check with a screen reader has not been carried out.
